Support WebSphere Application Server security domains

The concept of security domains in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is around for several releases now and many customer are using WebSphere's security domain feature to implement application specific security, to separate security configuration for administrators from security configuration used by the applications. Some customers actually have a security policy that administrative users and business users must be strictly separated and specific security requirements must be fulfilled for each user population

Therefore we'd need this support for WebSphere portal as well to allow setting up the installations just as all other WebSphere Application Server based installations as well and to be compliant

How will this idea be used?

Use separate security settings for the administrators of a cell and for the business users.

Use different user registries for different applications - for example use user registry reg1+reg2 for applications running in cluster1 and use user registry reg4+reg5 for applications running in cluster2. In this example cluster1 could maybe run internal applications only while cluster2 runs public applications.
