In OnPrem Tealeaf there is an option to have the mobile frame removed so that during replay mobile web sessions replay full screen size or essentially are visible in sort of a desktop view. In Tealeaf SaaS this option does not exist, and at times the right and bottom scroll bars are not visible or usable depending on the type of page(s) encountered by the visitor (i.e. responsive, jsp, etc...). Allowing the frame to be removed helps in reviewing sessions and confusion as most of the time users are looking for swipe actions on a mobile web session which aren't present in replay. The scroll bars are mostly a missed afterthought by users when reviewing sessions.
How will this idea be used?
This option is great for triage teams that are specifically looking for detailed steps of what a user did and encountered. Being able to quickly review sessions without the need to assist replay is a bonus for all customers. If the page loaded in a full desktop view, we would still know the type of session as indicated in the upper left corner of session replay and would see more page real estate instead of having to sometimes manipulate scroll bars to see the full page. Also, if you are required to take a screenshot for a legal dispute allowing one full page makes more sense than having to have users take two or three screenshots to then have to piece them together for a legal dispute.
