Users occasionally have issues or problems with the portal via cookies, session variables, cached files, etc. Also some browsers make it hard to "reset" variables for just one website, etc.
I've seen some internal websites that have a "debug" page, like debug.aspx that a Tealeaf administrator can link to a user and ask them to hit the "Reset Cookies for Tealeaf Portal" or will output the variables the portal uses, if we need to use them to attach to a Support ticket. It's basically just a mechanism for helping a user if they have portal problems. Easy little snippet of code that might help IBM support and Tealeaf administrators.
