Alerts for end-of-session events are not populating. IBM explained that this is a known limitation. See TS000345587. Key paragraph of the IBM response: "the problem is due to a design limitation rather than a defect, as the Alert Service has a 10-minute limit on how stale an event can be. Counts with times older than 10 minutes are considered stale and not included their respective time periods."
How will this idea be used?
Example: For cyber detection reasons, we are tracking customer sessions who tried to login with invalid credentials, and did not try again. For this we created an end of session event. We then use this event to determine the ratio of these sessions, divided by total sessions that try to login. We identified a threshold value and created an alert based on this ratio. However, the alert ratio is always 0.
