Provide an easy way for TeaLeaf users to provide a bug report that gets right to Acoustic.

This gets more users involved in reporting bugs and provides faster feedback on bugs to our developers.

How will this idea be used?

TeaLeaf customers would have a menu selection for reporting a bug via email.  The email bug report would go to a triage person or distribution group.  The triage group would:

 

  • Determine if the report is a new bug.
  • Determine if the bug has been fixed in a later FixPack.  In this case, there could be an email response to the customer letting them know this has already been fixed.
  • Request for more information from the customer.
