    The idea is based on recent issues with needing to scale Tealeaf due to an increase in the processing load. The processing load increases for multiple reasons...

    -- The business is growing the there are more customers.

    -- There have been additional applications added to the Tealeaf capture process.

    -- An upgrade of the applications use single-page application (SPA) web designs that require the Tealeaf SDK, which generates more captured hits.

    -- There is an increase in the number of analyst using Tealeaf.

    -- There is an increase in Tealeaf events, reports, alerts, etc...

    -- There is an increase in privacy & processing rules.

    -- There is an increase in DataDrop rules.

     

    The Tealeaf PCAs, HBRs, canisters, and replay servers are get busier. How do we know when Tealeaf is approaching its processing limits -before spooling/queuing and other degrading effects?

     

    Is there a profiler for the PCAs, the HBRs pipeline process, the canister processing?

    This year has been a slow progression of adding a PCA, adding disc space, adding virtual servers, adding virtual CPUs, adding disk space, etc... Sometimes its trial & error without knowing exactly what is the cause of a bottleneck or adverse processing issue.
